It primarily analyzes contemporary Palestinian novels to examine the image of the Jews from the perspective of Palestinians. And this study analyzes the novel \u2018The Image, the Icon and the Covenant\u2019 (2002), which is considered a later work among the long novels of the Palestinian female writer Sahar Khalifeh. In addition, this study aims to examine the various types of Jewish images that appear in this novel based on Imagology, one of the main concepts in comparative literature studies. Through this, it will deeply analyze how Palestinians view the \u2018other\u2019 called Jews in the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that has continued for the past 80 years, and how the collective unconsciousness behind that view was formed. The various Jewish images that appear in this novel can be seen as a reflection of not only the personal perception of the author Sahar Khalifeh, but also the collective unconsciousness that exists in the minds of Arabs and Palestinians. And this collective unconsciousness seems to be part of an accumulation that was naturally formed according to changes in the times and environment, such as the mass migration of Jews, the establishment of Israel, the Middle East war, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the search for mutual coexistence.
